Addons
All of the following addons work with WoW patch 3.0.
Addons by our very own Mareyn
ChatLogEnabler 1.0 by Mareyn
- Automatically enables logging of chat messages whenever you log on.
GuildPal 0.6 by Mareyn
- This addon adds two simple slash commands (/gwho and /gwhoall) to your World of Warcraft interface, intended to facilitate the communication between members of a growing guild. It also enhances the guild member login/logout notification messages, if you have enabled them in your WoW interface options.
Addons by our very own Karin
- Shows you a list of the top 4 people in your guild who can likely use any item in your inventory simply by mousing over it.
- This addon runs quietly and invisibly. There are no configuration options. It simply places your tradeskill information into your Public Note so that your guild members can see who in the guild is at what level when viewing the in-game guild roster.
Addons from elsewhere that we like
- Browse loot tables of bosses.
- GuildCraft is the follow-up to dbCraft. It is setup to show you what people in the guild can make/craft. On load it will scan your tradeskills, and send em out in the new Blizzard style compressed format. Other members of the guild also running the addon will pick up on it and have your data.
- To use GuildCraft, type "/gcb" (or create a button with StatBlock, see below). This will bring up a browser for your crafting database. You can search recipes based on the names of items, or on any of the mats used to create them. Known crafters for each recipe are listed at the top of the window, with online users highlighted in green.
- Type "/guildcraft" to open GuildCraft's options menu.
- Track the auction house value of items. Also includes Enchantrix for tracking how items disenchant and recommending whether they should just be vendored.
- Simple bag browser for every bag on every toon. No need to run back to the bank just to check your supplies or post a link. No need to relog to your alts. Also supports text search for bag contents. This addon does not replace the standard bag layout with some meta-conceptual abstraction, and that's a good thing.
- Action bar customization.
- Helps you slay the bosses in 10-man and 25-man instances. Specialized timers and warnings for unique boss abilities.
- A quick-click unit-frames interface for classes that can remove debuffs.
- From the folks that make Auctioneer (see above). Track your gathering nodes and optionally share them with friends. Recommend installing the GathererDB_Wowhead files as well. See the Routes addon below.
- Compact and minimal party status, including health, debuffs, and out-of-range.
- For healers.
- The counterpart to BigWigs (see above) for 5-man bosses.
- A collection of miscellaneous UI tweaks and automations for building a minimal UI with minimal addons or using as the core of a compilation. Includes: Auto-Ignore Duel, Auto-Resurrect, Auto-Repair, Auto-Sell Grey items, Chat Box Mouse Scrolling, Hide Map Clutter, etc.
- The threat meter. It shows how likely you are to be the target of a mob's aggro. If you're a tank, you like threat, otherwise not so much. Omen lets you monitor and adjust your threat before it becomes a problem.
- A CT_RaidAssist alternative.
- Manage your gear at the bank, create sets optimized for various attributes, swap gear sets with the click of a button. You need this.
- Cast bar replacement with many nice options, including latency display and pet/target/focus cast bars.
- Damage/Healing meters with optional realtime graphing.
- Reads your Gatherer and/or Cartographer database and creates an optimal path between all the nodes in an area (a la Traveling Salesman). You get to choose which types of nodes to connect, and you can rope off areas to be ignored. This is a powerful addon, and a bit daunting to configure, but it is a must-have for serious miners and herbers. The investment pays off in higher farming rates.
- Lots of ways to tweak your minimap.
- An alternative to FuBar and TitanBar that works in concert with LibDataBroker (LDB). StatBlock already knows about most of your addons (because many addons are now hooking into LDB). There are also a lot of simple plugins that can be found by searching for StatBlock at WowAce.
- Better fonts.
- For Shamans only. This provides a convenient interface for casting (and recasting) totems and weapon buffs.
